Thank You

So I know that I have never been the person to say thank you as soon as I should. I always tell myself that I need to do it, but then I find something else to do instead. (I do this with my homework and running errands as well.) But I would really like to say thank you for the birthday gifts I recieved this year.

To my Grandma, Lois, Keith, Patty and family:

Thank you for the increase in my bank account. For a while I was at a loss of what to buy myself. Then I realized that I'm in the design field for a reason. I found an amazing new comforter set and sheets through JC Penny's. The change that this new comforter has made on my room is amazing, it has brightened up everything. (Before my theme color was black with accents of white and red.) I thing that this change not only makes me love my room for being elegant (when it is clean that is) but it has also had a dramatic effect on my mood. I'm in a more cheerful mood because the colors promote tranquility. This will be amazing for me during the winter when my winter depression kicks in. So I really wanted to say thank you for the gift of money and allowing me the chance to change my room so drastically.

To Ken, Nancy and family:

Thank you for the cutting board. I laughed very hard when I opened it to find that. I have often grumbled to myself about how the cutting utencil that I had couldn't even reach the full length of a 8.5" x 11" page. Now I have something that cuts even larger than that. I've put it to use already!

To Phil and Kathrine:

The chair that you picked out for me is spectacular! I had the easiest time setting it up because all that involved was taking it out of the box and removing some padding. Sitting in it is heavenly, it has a little sway to it while you lay back and it makes me wish that I had a porch here at school that I could sit outside on it and read a good book. Instead I have a porch that doubles as the sidewalk to the parking lot. Oh well what can you do when you are renting an apartment in a college town. The chair is truely an amazing addition to my collection of mismatched chairs that I love. Thank you so much for picking it out for me.

To Mom and Dad:

The Facial/Back Facial combination could not have been better. You know the stress I was going through at the time, and it really did give me a few hours of complete and utter relaxation. The products that I was able to purchace have been wonderful for my skin as well. Thanks for the relaxation, and helping me through the hard time all summer.

To my darling sister:

I had the most amazing time with you this summer. I really enjoyed getting to hang out with you, and see you while you were home instead of seeing you as you head off to others homes trying to cram everything into a week long trip. I am truly glad that we have grown past the arguments of our childhood and have become the close friend we are today. It is funny how moving away brought us close together. To you I get to say thanks for the wide array of birthday items you have given me, the margarita bucket, the steering wheel cover, the yarn and coffee mug. Most of all though thank you for Friends. Your support and stories you shared was amazing, and now I have something to watch whenever I'm down that is guaranteed to make me laugh. I can't watch it now without thinking of you.

So again thank you to everyone for all of the gifts and support you have given me throghout the years. I love you all
