a new blog about a busy life
I have no life anymore. There are friends back home that I haven't talked to in ages, and they all want to come out and visit me. Even though I have become much better at managing my time and not putting things off to the last minute, I'm still so busy. (Instead of taking me the last minute that I used to leave to do my work, it now takes me the whole time and I still get done at the last minute it seems)
The project I'm working on for studio is very intense right now. I really shouldn't be writing this blog right now I should be working. But it has been ages since the last blog so I'll write one anyway. We are designing a headquarters for YouTube in Seattle and it is really fun and exciting because the project requires a lot of creativity and innovative thinking. There is just a lot of work that is required for this project, and motivation to do a good job. Out of the 11 teams working on this project the 3 that CollinsWoerman (the firm in seattle that designed the project for us) likes best will get cash prizes, and the possibility of an internship.
The sad thing is that if I were offered the internship I wouldn't be able to take it. As most, if not all of you know, I get to spend 2 months in Rome this summer. I can't wait to go, and yet the preparation that is going into getting ready for this trip is taking up a large chunk of my time as well. [Side note: there is a blog page where all the students who are going to Rome are required to post on a few times while we are over there. It currently has all the posts from last summers trip. The address is idahoroma.blogspot.com]
Well that is a short little update for everyone.... back to CAD

Take a deep breath, get some sleep and don't forget to eat. You will get through this.

Hmmm, internship or Rome? Earn money or spend money? English or Italian? Macaroni and cheese from a box or fresh spaghetti? How do you choose? Mom
